Thur – 8.45 – 12.30

Robert Zagar now practices as a manipulative therapist and acupuncturist. Prior to this, he practiced as a registered acupuncturist for 37 years having trained at The British School of Acupuncture and a registered osteopath for 35 years having trained at the European School of Osteopathy.

Between 1986-1991 he lectured in anatomy and neuroanatomy. Before he came to the UK he was a critical care nurse in America for three years and for two years started and ran a health care clinic on his own in the jungles of Guatemala. He also trained and performed as a professional dancer (contemporary and ballet) in the past.

As a practitioner, Robert has over 37 years experience in treating acute and chronic conditions. His particular interest is in the treatment of people with severe trauma where other treatments have not been successful. His approach is “patient oriented” : treating every condition in relation to that particular person. He incorporates many techniques ranging from structural, soft tissue, to cranial. He also uses acupuncture as an adjunct therapy.
