Having qualified as an Osteopath in 2011, Robbie Jacobs also trained and worked as a Sports Massage Therapist alongside his degree.

His passion for both osteopathy and sports massage evolved from his interest in health and his participation in a variety of competitive sports, including cycling, triathlon, football, cricket, golf and former work as a tennis coach.

Robbie’s approach is beneficial for all types of conditions, from an athlete overcoming an injury, to a patient seeking to improve their mobility. His goal as an osteopath is to create an environment in which the patient’s recovery can be optimized. This is achieved through a variety of osteopathic techniques such as, structural manipulation and soft tissue work, as well as addressing any lifestyle and environmental factors that may be contributing to their problem.

Robbie also has a background in social work, having worked for 2 years in a social aid institution in Guatemala, where he became fluent in Spanish. This experience inspired him to focus his career on working with people within a therapeutic profession.

He has completed post-graduate courses in Sports Biomechanics and Functional Rehabilitation. Robbie is a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GoSC) and the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists.
