Jessica Ovett is now a full partner with Robert.

Jessica is a general practice osteopath, with over 25 years of experience in traditional structural osteopathy and gentle cranial techniques. Her first degree in Psychology and Neuroscience fuelled her interest in understanding the body/mind relationship and its impact on health and wellbeing. She graduated in 1998 from The British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London and joined Robert in 2000. She has also practiced in various clinics across north London and New Zealand.

Jessica is experienced in using osteopathy to help conditions such as neck and back pain and sports injuries. Osteopathy my also be helpful with bio-mechanical and postural conditions. Having worked closely for a number of years with other types of therapists and practitioners of muscular skeletal medicine, she adopts a whole body approach, taking all aspects of her patients into consideration.

Jessica is trained in Foundation Pilates for physical therapists, which involves simple and effective modified Pilates exercises. These are suitable for both those with musculoskeletal pain as well as anyone wishing to return to exercise after injury or pregnancy.

She is also qualified in Medical Acupuncture (Cert. MA). She may incorporate these modalities into the treatment of musculoskeletal pain where appropriate.
